Cats give no fucks. My cat will hop on my bed and just rest his head on my hip like he’s Chord Overstreet. And I rub him because he owns me, not the other way around.

My mother’s cat does this, and she isn’t nearly as passive. She will grab your hand, and put it on her head (assuming you’re in a position in which this is possible). She is also strong as fuck, and has manual dexterity (she can open doors, too), so this is a thing she actively does, not just kinda tugs, she lifts your fucking hand and shoves her head under it.
She will not be denied.
